Winner of 2026 Avio Medtech MVP Pitch Contest Announced
Congratulations to LIQID Medical, who was named the winner of the 2026 Avio Medtech MVP Pitch Contest at the Medtech MVP Venture & Partnering Conference in Minneapolis, MN. The company earned the $19,000 non-dilutive cash prize after presenting its novel approach to glaucoma treatment.
LIQID Medical is developing novel ocular implants for glaucoma treatment, including its QMAX device, designed to improve fluid drainage in the eye and address a leading cause of irreversible vision loss worldwide.
The contest featured three finalists selected from a competitive applicant pool: Bairitone Health, LIQID Medical and Entirety Biomedical. Each finalist delivered a live pitch to a panel of judges and an audience of investors and industry leaders during the Medtech MVP Conference on June 1-2, 2026. The contest was judged by respected industry leaders: Morgan Evans of Agitated Solutions, Dan Wolf of Piper Sandler and David Siet Amzak of Amzak Health.
